Official Rules

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL, AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. The “­­­­­­­­­­­I Gotta Go” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:01 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) on July 22, 2010 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m., (“EDT”) on October 15, 2010 ("Sweepstakes Period"). The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Share Our Strength, 1730 M St. NW, Ste. 700, Washington, D.C. 20037 (the "Sponsor"), who is solely responsible for all aspects of this Sweepstakes. 

Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, who are 21 years of age or older as of July 22, 2010. Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members and members of the same household) of Share Our Strength, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Alliance Sweepstakes Services, their affiliated companies, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and any other entities and consultants directly associated with this Sweepstakes (collectively, “Released Parties”), are also not eligible to participate. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.

How to Enter: 1) During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible participants can access http://www.sweeps.nycwineandfoodfestival.com/, and follow the entry instructions on that website. Entrants will be asked to provide their first name, last name, gender, complete mailing address, city, state, zip code, daytime telephone number, and e-mail address. All informational fields are mandatory and must be completed in order to receive one (1) valid Sweepstakes entry. In addition, eligible entrants who submit a referral of five (5) or more friends/family members will receive one (1) extra valid entry into the Sweepstakes. Only one (1) extra Sweepstakes entry will be awarded per person. All entries must be received by 11:59 pm ET on October 15, 2010. Once submitted, an Online Entry cannot be deleted, canceled, amended or modified. Enter using only an e-mail address subscribed and registered in your name. Limit of two total entries per person will be allowed. In the event of a dispute as to Online Entries submitted by multiple individuals using the same e-mail account, subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. An entrant may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder in order to claim a prize.

Internet Limitations of Liability: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part, at any time, without notice and award the Grand Prizes using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of, or after (if applicable) this cancellation, termination, modification or suspension date, or in any manner that is fair and equitable. Sponsor and the other Released Entities assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor and the other Released Entities are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON (S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

Prize: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a 4day/3night trip for two (2) people to Las Vegas, NV. The Grand Prize package will include standard roundtrip economy airfare, a wraparound terrace suite at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas hotel and resort, and $1,000 of resort credit. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize package is $5,000. Seats are subject to availability at the time of booking. Blackout dates may apply. Extensions to other cities are not available and tickets are non-transferable. Prizewinner’s ticket may not be used to qualify for any promotional offer. All travel must be completed by March 31, 2011. Travel and hotel accommodations are subject to capacity controls, availability, blackout dates and other restrictions, all of which are subject to change at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Grand Prize winner will be solely responsible for all other expenses not specifically set forth herein including but not limited to transportation, taxes, meals, transfers, gratuities, souvenirs, fuel surcharges, and any other incidentals. All decisions by the Sponsor as to prize winner and prizes are final. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.  No substitution or transfer of prize or election of cash in lieu of prize will be permitted. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute any prize package with another prize of equal or greater value in the event that the prize (or any component thereof) is not available.

Prize Conditions: The Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and/or any other fees/costs associated with the prize or receipt of the prize. The Grand Prize winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability / Publicity Release (unless prohibited), within ten (10) days of written notification or the aforementioned prize winner will be disqualified. The traveling companion must also execute and return a travel liability release. If the travel companion is a minor, parent or legal guardian must sign and return release and accompany minor on the trip. In the event of noncompliance with the Official Rules, if a winner cannot be reached at the address/phone number on winner’s entry within two (2) days of the first attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, an alternate winner will be selected. The winner’s entry and acceptance of the prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for the Sponsor to use said winner’s and his or her companion’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice and address (city and state), in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation.

Drawing and Notification: The Grand Prize winner will be selected, from among all eligible entries received, in a random drawing on or about October 25, 2010, by Alliance Sweepstakes Services (“the Administrator”), an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The Grand Prize winner will be contacted by telephone and will receive a United States Postal System mail package of prize confirmation.

Terms & Conditions: This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, distributors, consultants and advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, shareholders and agents from any and all liability, loss, damage or injuries to any person (including death) or property of any kind sustained in connection with their participation in the Sweepstakes or from their acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of the prize, or for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of the prize. Entrants further acknowledge that said parties have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize, including, but not limited to, its quality or fitness for a particular purpose.  Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the Sweepstakes mechanics and/or implementation will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sweepstakes Administrator, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the sweepstakes or these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, violates these Official Rules. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited.
